Blues Jazz Fest in Burgas

The next issue of "Burgas Blues Fest" will take place on 29, 30 and 31 August. This year the festival will gather by the sea the best Bulgarian blues players and several proven names from abroad.

They will be playing on a stage in the Sea garden just under "Primoretz" hotel. The stage will be located on the site of the Latino zone during the Spirit of Burgas festival.

Another 12 groups and performers will jam on the "Burgas Blues Fest" 2008. Music will be played from 20 till 0 o'clock in each of the 3 evenings.

The following bands will play on Friday - "Alexandrov ragtime band", Plamen Stavrev, "Dzhendema" and Richard Bargel - a German guitarist, who has an album together with the legendary blues player Charlie Musselwhite.

"Blues traffic", "Joro Matev band", Vasko Krapkata and company, as well as Atilla Weinberger (Romania) will play on Saturday.

The festival will end on Sunday including performances by "Hebros blues band", "Tarantino", "Sunrise" and the American Chris McDermott, who has participated in the "Woodstock" festival in 1999.
