Thousand of tourists visit the salt pits in Bourgas

In fact these are the Bourgas salt pit – the biggest natural open air Spa centre in Bulgaria.

Official program of Spirit of Bourgas 2011

This year the best music festival in Bulgaria will again take place on the beach in Bourgas.
The Spirit of Bourgas will happen in Burgas for the 4th time on 12, 13 and 14th of August 2011.

Free of charge sun umbrellas in the central beach of Bourgas

In the summer 2011 the central beach of Bourgas offers tourists free of charge umbrellas and sun beds. Beach sport lovers can use some of the playgrounds for free.

Bourgas municipality is the new owner of the central beach. Medical staff and 11 lifeguards will take care for the security of the tourists until the middle of September.

The beach will have more than 20 umbrellas. Near the entrances are installed...

Official opening of the renewal Bourgas Sea Garden

Tale Wall in the Sea Garden in Bourgas was renewed. Start of the official opening was given by the Bourgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and the manager of "Regional Policy"department for Bulgaria of European Commission - Carsten Rasmussen.

The park is recovered under the project “Improvement of public significant spaces in favor of social integration and sustainable urban development in Bourgas municipality".

Tourist Info Center opened in Bourgas Airport

Info Center opened doors at terminal “Arrived” in Bourgas Airport. For the forth year the tourists can take information about the sites and tourism options in Bourgas region during their summer holiday.

Bulgarian-Hungarian tourism forum in Bourgas

Bulgarian-Hungarian tourism Forum about the southern Black Sea was held today in the Sea Casino in Bourgas.

“The new challenge for the South Bulgarian Black Sea” forum presented the tourism development opportunities of the region.

Part of the forum were tour operators representatives, airlines, travel agents of Bulgaria and Hungary, Bulgarian and Hungarian hoteliers.

Summer charter flights starts at Bourgas Airport

Today is the official opening of the summer charter flights season in Bourgas Airport.

The management welcomed a flight from Tel Aviv with 170 tourists on board. The first Israel tourist group arrived in Bourgas Airport last week.

Israel tourists are attract from the casinos and low prices in Bulgarian Black Sea resorts. The Airport management expects 5% rising of tourists compared with 2010.

Tourists can travel with regular flights from Bourgas to Oslo, London and Moscow.

Thracian treasures to be exposed in Bourgas

The exposition of Thracian treasures will be displayed in the Culture centre Sea Casino, Bourgas from the beginning of June until the end of August.

Panagyurishte Treasure, the unique Teres’s golden mask and other valuable findings discovered in an ancient Necropolis will be shown in the coastal town for three months.

Tourists in Bourgas will have the opportunity to visit also another intriguing event...

Bourgas will exhibit the Panagurishte treasure

Bourgas municipality will include the sea casino in the local tours of the tour operators. The famous Panagurishte treasure will be exhibited in Bourgas.

The National Histoy Museom of Bulgaria requires special exhibition criteria to provide the treasure for public exhibit. The organizers will have to supply a constant temperature in the exhibition room, as well as special security measurements.

Bulgaria Air Increases the Number of Sofia-Burgas Flights

Bulgaria Air has announced it is increasing the number of flights between Sofia and the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas.

Starting January 10, the Bulgarian national airline will perform 12 flights a week between the two cities.

There will be two flights a day from Monday to Friday, with the new one being before noon.

The price of a one-way ticket starts at EUR 15.
